The Mortgage Beast is an independent education site. Every calculator, guide, and table on this site is free to use. We are not paid by lenders, brokers, or comparison services.

Calculators run in your browser. We do not sell your inputs, and nobody pays us to change the math.

How the math works

• Payments, GDS/TDS, CMHC, land transfer tax, and IRD estimates use the published formulas on our methodology page.

Not a brokerage

The Mortgage Beast is not a licensed mortgage brokerage. We do not arrange, negotiate, or fund mortgages.
